Pam Steele interviews Dr Gamal Khalfalla
On 22nd November 2018, Pamela Steele sat down the (then) Director-General of Sudan’s National Medical Supply Fund (NMSF), Dr Gamal Khalfalla, to ask him key questions about the success of its transformation.
NMSF has been transforming its operations since 2011 and has set a very high standard for other national agencies in low- and middle-income countries. Using a new business model, NMSF achieved the much-desired 90% availability rate, with fewer than 1% of products being rejected for poor quality.
